More than 1,000 retail locations across the state will begin selling scratch-off lottery tickets when the state lottery launches on Nov. 25, Mississippi Lottery Communications Director Meg Annison said.Annison said more applications for selling lottery tickets are still being reviewed and approved. Annison said more than 1,400 applications have been submitted and as of Tuesday approximately 1,000 locations have been approved.
Annison said retail locations such as convenience stores, grocery stores, restaurants and even beauty parlors and barber shops are eligible to apply for selling lottery tickets in the state.
