The playoff hopefuls look to snap their longest losing streak under Maurice as they visit the Colorado Avalanche on Monday night. "If I want to try to get fired, Im not going to call up Dan Snyder and ask his opinion on a player (when) I dont have to. And if he says no, Im not going to go in that direction."
