It appears that World of Warcraft might be coming to the Xbox soon
For years, MMORPGs were a Windows and macOS thing. PC gamers were the only ones who could enjoy MMORPGs such as World of Warcraft. However, in recent years, other MMOs have found their way towards consoles as well. Case in point, some of the most popular MMOs in the world like Final Fantasy XIV and The Elder Scrolls Online have been available on consoles since they were launched. Despite this push to make MMOs available on multiple platforms, Blizzard's best-selling MMORPG, World of Warcraft, still hasn't made the platform shift yet - perhaps until now.To get more news about buy wow items, you can visit lootwowgold official website.
According to recent rumors, World of Warcraft: Complete Edition is coming to the Xbox console soon with Blizzard and/or Xbox announcing The Game Awards 2021.
World of Warcraft is one of the oldest MMORPGs in existence today. Even if it's already 17 years old, Blizzard's commitment towards introducing new content has helped keep the MMO relevant among modern audiences. Blizzard hasn't confirmed just how many players are still playing World of Warcraft, but it doesn't take an expert to know that the MMO is still a very lucrative and profitable venture for Blizzard.
With that said, a move to the Xbox consoles (and possibly even the PlayStation) could help extend World of Warcraft's life by a couple more years if not a decade.
Speculations of a potential console release of World of Warcraft first popped up on Reddit and ResetEra. The original post contained a screenshot of the source code of the official Xbox website with a listing of "World of Warcraft: Complete Edition" found in the "Upcoming" category. The most interesting part here is that the listing is dated December 9, which is also when The Game Awards 2021 will take place.
If Blizzard and Microsoft want to make a big splash at The Game Awards 2021, especially given that each respective studio lacks a representative for the GOTY award, announcing a console port of World of Warcraft is a great way to steal the show.
