It appears that Blizzard will be rewarding players who reach level 60 in the Classic version of World of Warcraft with a free upgrade to the Battle for Azeroth expansion and a level 110 boost for a character. The news appeared briefly in relation to the fifteenth anniversary of the game, but has since been deleted. This was likely leaked too far ahead of an official announcement and may appear again in the near future. To get more news about buy WoW gold Classic, you can visit lootwowgold official website.

If true, the task will not be a quick one for most players. Following the release of Classic, the news has mainly focused on those attempting to achieve a number of world-first feats, including being the first to defeat certain raid content and the first to reach level 60. While Jokerd, a long-time player of the game, did so with a Mage using a combination of Area of Effect grinding and the use of layering exploits, he skipped most of the quests, and thus, content of the game.

Most players will likely take their time in reaching the level cap for the game. The timing of the offer will likely work to Blizzard’s favor. The most recent expansion has been criticized for its overall bland, low-stakes plot with far too much recycled content. The constant need for Azerite gear, and the on-again, off-again friction between Horde and Alliance feels played out. We all know that as soon as a world-ending threat appears, everyone kisses and makes up for a triumphant team-up. As a result, players seem to be staying away from the game relative to other, more successful expansions from the past.

By tying a free character boost and expansion to the end of leveling a character in Classic, Blizzard may succeed in making players interested in exploring the more recent events in the game. With that in mind, there is also the possibility of attempting to convince players to play both the retail version of the game alongside Classic. This may seem like a lot, however, the current endgame for retail for casual players often involves doing a set of daily or weekly events, which once completed, leave little else outside of long-term achievements or more serious content like organized raiding. Perhaps Blizzard is looking to find those who would love to have the best of both worlds with a little bit of endgame in each version of the game. For now, we first need to see if the announcement that was only up for a short while re-materializes into something permanent. There seems little reason not to think this would be a promotion after it was on an official post, even if only for a short while.
