2 people injured in Lyndhurst house fire

John Valente said. The fire was first reported by an off-duty police officer, Nick Abruscato, who was driving by at the time, Valente said.
The 45-year-old man and the 30-year-old woman who had climbed onto the roof told police the homeowner may still be inside the first floor of the residence, Valente said.
Firefighters and police then deployed a ladder to get the two off of the roof, while at the same time they tried to enter the basement and first-floor level of the home in search of the missing homeowner Cigarettes Online, Valente said.
