    "adidas sl 72
as the brand unveiled the Unveiled earlier this month, adidas‘ SL 7600 silhouette has done a 180 degree turn for its next release, which forgoes any blue/red/grey for shades of white. Clad in “Cloud White” and “Crystal White,” the SL 7600 fuses old and new. Soft nylon uppers and their accompanying suede and nubuck detailing at the toe, lace guards and heel harken back to the brand’s ’70s trainers. Serrated outsoles are undeniably inspired by the SL 72, but this new runner distinguishes itself elsewhere. Lace loops and their beige laces sit right below flipped adidas branding and atop a semi-translucent tongue; profile 3-Stripes sport a faint black tint prominently visible at the collar. Furthermore, an exposed slab of Boost cushioning at the heel unmistakably places this retro option in the 21st century.

Upon its initial debut in March of 2017, it was clear that Kanye West’s adidas Yeezy Powerphase design was not exactly original as it basically just slapped some Calabasas branding onto the lateral side of the adidas powerphase cloud white tennis sneaker from the 1980s. Now that the silhouette has garnered more popularity with the backing of the enigmatic rapper’s Three Stripes sub-brand, adidas is set to bring the original back with its “Powerphase” branding back where it belongs in place of that aforementioned “Calabasas” hit. On March 1st, Trefoil brand purists will be treated to two simple color schemes, with the choice between a tonal Cloud White variety as well as a creamy Ecru Tint version, each sporting perforated Three Stripes hits and debossed lateral branding.

adidas‘ BOOST-cushioning debuted on the market over half a decade ago as a performance-oriented proposal, but has since become a mainstay among the Three Stripes’ lifestyle sneakers, the NMD R1 included. In less than a month, the popular adidas nmd white line will add a “Chalk White” outfit to its catalog. And though the cream colorway will only drop in women’s sizes, the palette is a compelling option for anyone looking to mess with sizing conversions. The NMD R1‘s already lightweight textile upper appears airier thanks to “Chalk White” scheme; mesh bases, synthetic/TPU overlays and canvas heel panels partake in the light-beige affair. At the midsole, signature molds (two lateral side, one medial) change up the story in a tan arrangement, while BOOST-cushioning goes colorless. Outsoles, however, further stir up the pot as they sport a (very) faint pink tinge that makes this pair perfect for Spring.

Taking a break from the dozens of animated releases already under its belt this year, the adidas superstar black adds a minimalist nod to Paris to its 50th Anniversary roster. Clad in “Core White/Cloud White/Carbon,” the premium pair updates its iconic shell-toe with leather and revels in reduced seams at the profiles. Stan Smith-like perforations at the sidewalls are accompanied by “Metallic Gold,” lateral “PARIS SUPERSTAR” text à la original Gazelle. Trefoil logos at the heel, unlike their counterparts on the tongue, which blend in with their “Carbon” surroundings, add more luxurious flair to this Superstar. Down below, a “Core White” midsole/outsole combination rounds out this tribute to France’s capital. Grab a closer look at this stripped-back Superstar here below and keep an eye out for pairs to arrive to adidas.com in the coming weeks.

Whether it involves overlaying materials dressed up with animalistic graphics or getting reinforced with heat-reflective materials to combat the winter weather, the adidas yung-1 trail sneakers has been honing in on more flashy and functional offerings as of late. However, it seems as though the lifestyle silhouette wants to take a quick breather from its more flamboyant decor and instead revert back to palettes leaning more towards neutral simplicity. Its abstract overlays pair together a clean-yet-effective blend of “Savanna Gold” and grey tones which are used as the focal point of its look. In addition, subtle doses of metallic shimmer get integrated as the Three Stripes branding, as well as the throat and heel underlays, appear to be stitched with shiny embroidery whose gleam can be best appreciated when viewing the shoes from an up-close perspective.
