"leek and stylish, the Nike Air Max 90 Ultra Moire has become one of the most beloved lifestyle silhouettes in the entire NSW lineup, and is a crucial piece to the puzzle of that’s Swoosh Brand’s offerings each and every season. It’s taken on a masterful multitude of makeups over the course of 2019, and now another fresh style has surfaced, one that boasts a striking grayscale gradient fade. The heel starts with a stark black before gradually giving way to a steel grey on the midfoot and a crisp white by the toebox, but this is no average abatement of tones — the devil’s truly in the details (and materials) here. The color shift is accented by stark silver accents/contrast stitching on the upper’s overlays, and the mudguard also offers a patent leather-style sheen that highlights its color-shifting ways even further, even dropping down onto the usually cut-out midfoot underlay. You’ll also notice that the standard branding is gone, replaced by an elegant “Just Do It” hit on the heel plus swoosh-and-text logos on both the tongue stamp and outsole’s jeweled badge. A white EVA foam midsole and black Air Max unit wrap things up.

After appearing in a makeup that was seemingly Nintendo 64-inspired and getting coated in newspaper print, Nike’s Nike Air Huarache Pas Cher is set to keep its recent spate of wild colorways rolling right along with a reptilian style that seemingly nods to the classic Air Force 1 “Cocoa Snake.” Offering a classic black/white color scheme, the signature detailing on these Nike shoes is provided by a grayscale snakeskin print that slithers across the mudguard and bottom overlays. The upper’s bullet-train inspired racing stripes are dressed in crisp white, while a tightly-woven black mesh base holds the look together both literally and figuratively. Down below, a white EVA foam midsole combines with a crisp grey Air Max cushioning unit, and a black outsole finalizes the stylings.

Although Adidas Nmd R1 Femme has mostly been celebrating 30 years of Torsion tech by re-releasing classic models, they’re looking towards the timeless support system’s future as well, and aiming to begin its next chapter in earnest with a new silhouette dubbed the Torsion X. At first glance, the Torsion X certainly cuts a bold figure, one that draws bits and pieces from other Three Stripes lifestyle favorites. Both the tongue and the circular suede eyestays are reminiscent of Kanye West‘s adidas Yeezy 500, while the plastic tube that wraps around the asymmetrical lacing system and heel gives off serious adidas Ozweego vibes. The rest of the upper features a layered combo of synthetics and suede, while a bold branded hit appears on the tongue.

While most of this year’s Black History Month creations have come out of Nike’s camp so far, adidas is ready to toss their hat into the ring by way of an adidas superstar femme. Devoid of the influential silhouette’s customary midfoot striping, this model comes dressed in an off white hue with varying colors on its medial eyelets ranging from black, to purple, to red. However, the most intriguing part of this new Ultra Boost iteration is its “CBC” logo on its custom insoles anchored by a bright orange basketball with “Celebrate Black Culture” surrounding the emblem in bold purple lettering. While this model is indeed designed for BHM, its inspiration is kept more subtle than most, as it appears to be just another general release UB from the outside.

Sparse branding on blacks and whites has been the calling card of collaborations by Rei Kawakubo’s retail empire. This week, the much-emulated shop will drop two Adidas Stan Smith Femme Pas Cher options in the aforementioned styling, opting for rich white and black leathers with just the touch of DSM branding on the left heels and right insoles of the shoes. And much like their 2014 Stan Smith project, these rid the lateral side of the trademark three-striped dots, option for an unblemished look."
