The Chicago Bears say they were interviewing Philadelphia Eagles quarterbacks coach John DeFilippo for their head coaching job.In his second year as the Eagles’ QBs coach Sebastian Janikowski Color Rush Jersey , DeFilippo has helped Carson Wentz emerge as one of the best passers in the league. The No. 2 overall draft pick in 2016, he threw for 3 Da'Shawn Hand Jersey Lions ,296 yards with 33 touchdowns and seven interceptions before suffering a season-ending knee injury last month.
In Chicago, DeFilippo would be working with another quarterback drafted second overall – Mitchell Trubisky last spring.
The Bears were meeting with DeFilippo in Philadelphia on Saturday. They have also interviewed Minnesota and New England offensive coordinators Pat Shurmur and Josh McDaniels Cheap Tyquan Lewis Jersey , Vikings defensive coordinator George Edwards and Chicago defensive coordinator Vic Fangio.
The Bears fired John Fox after a 14-34 record in three years and a .292 winning percentage that ranks as the second-lowest in franchise history. They were 5-11 this past season.

Orioles reliever Darren O’Day has opted for season-ending surgery to repair a left hamstring injury.
Manager Buck Showalter said the recovery time from the operation would be six months, compared to a 10- to 12-week absence if the right-hander attempted to rehabilitate the injury.
Showalter said surgery gives O’Day ”a lot better chance of it not being an issue again. And that’s important.”
The 35-year-old O’Day has struggled with injuries this season Authentic Durham Smythe Jersey , missing a month with a hyperextended elbow before being sidelined for good after hurting his hamstring on June 26.
The side-armer is 0-2 with a 3.60 ERA in 20 games. He was placed on the 60-day disabled list on Friday.
Showalter says O’Day has not finalized the time and place of the procedure.
